36 Weeks

Only about 4 more weeks to go and it just seems unreal! It has hit me this past week that I better get some things done around here! You know... pack my bags, wash the car seat, buy diapers.... things that need to be done before he decides to come meet us. I still am feeling great and haven't been that tired so I better get everything done while I can I suppose!
There are three of us right now in the Boise Field that are pregnant. Shauna is due Sept. 22, Amy Sept. 1, and me July 26th. We finally got a photo of all of us together.
This evening we went over to Auntie Shanna and Uncle Tom's house so that we could see our nephew again... and them of course!
Keaton got to hold him and was just great. He sat really still rocking him and smiling for the camera! He is going to be great with his new baby brother.
Lots of loves.

Summer Fun

We have spent lots of time outside now that it is finally hot! We have been playing in the pool in the afternoons.

Today though we got to go over and meet baby Remington Luke, Tom and Shanna's new little boy. He is adorable of course and we love him to pieces.
Keaton was so excited to get to hold him....
and give him kisses!

Tiana immediately gave him lots of loves and kisses and was very gentle with him. She signed that he was sleeping and then wanted to find his ears, eyes, hair etc. She was so amazed that he had little features just like her!

He was 7 lbs 14 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. The labor was a little rough with the cord wrapped around his neck but he is doing wonderful now and Auntie Shanna is recovering. They are both grinning from ear to ear and so excited. They are wonderful parents and we are so happy for them! Congratulations, you two, we love you all! We will go visit them again soon.

New baby boy!!!

Auntie Shanna and Uncle Tom had their little boy last night at 12:07 am! We are off to see my new little nephew Remington this morning so we will be back with photos and details later today. We hear he has lots of hair!

Gone for a Minute and....

So I went to the bathroom yesterday..... which does not amount to very much time AT ALL..... especially considering the size of my bladder these days. Well I come back into the study to discover a tornado seems to have touched down. Tiana was rather suspicious looking with dirt in her hair, mouth, nose, ears... well you get the idea... not to mention two large handfuls of dirt that she was emptying onto the couch cushion. I know that my son had a rather large part in this because of all of the leaves scattered about that only HE could have reached. He told Daddy later that he also put some dirt on Sissy... which explains the hair. They of course got in trouble and I shut them out of the study to clean up. They spent the entire time with their noses glued to the glass having quite a great time licking the glass and smearing their slobber over the window..... looks like I need to go get the glass cleaner now!
A day in the life of a mom with young children! Needless to say, inspite of all this we got the house all cleaned, laundry done, crib bumper cut out and some play time in. They helped me in that they took GREAT naps!!!

Auntie Shanna

After Wednesday night meeting at convention I took a few photos of Uncle Tom and Auntie Shanna since she is due any time now! Then onion crates worked as a great western type background since the nursery is western themed.
For some more photos check out my website here.

Convention!

These past 4 days have been WONDERFUL! We just got back from convention of course totally full..... and exhausted. Tends to happen with two active children I suppose. They did WAY better than we even imagined and this year was a lot easier than last year. Tiana napped in both morning and afternoon meeting for a portion at least and Keaton napped all of afternoon meeting. Of course the late to bed and early waking up sure wore them out but they were troopers. On the drive over on Friday morning Keaton says, "No wake me up anymore, let me sleep!" Of course then when he realized that he wouldn't get to go to convention he changed his mind. The best toy EVER for Tiana was her little purse filled up with a bunch of little finger puppets and toys. Every meeting she would empty and refill it OVER and OVER and OVER again!

Thursday:
Discovering the climbing tree... the same one that Daddy remembers climbing in when he was little.
Tiana was WAY more adventurous that we would have ever imagined. She did great with other people as long as they didn't get too close or attempt to pick her up. Here she was in the middle of a circle of teenage girls laughing and listening to their conversation!

Lily, Keaton and Jace.... buddies all convention of course.

When we got our snacks in the evening I wasn't thinking and just handed her a frosted graham cracker... of course the chocolate one instead of the white one. She loved it but needless to say it was a good thing it was the end of the day and bathtime!

Friday:

Taking a quick photo with Mommy since we all matched. A tuckered out little boy. You know he is tired when

a: he lays down for a long period of time when he could be playing

b: he asks to take a nap

c: he says "I so sleepy" over and over again in conversation.
He almost didn't make it until meeting started before crashing.
Running around pointing at everything! She learned a couple new words in the past few days, she learned to sign "bird" and say "tree". There was something else she started saying and I will have to add it when I remember what it was! Saturday:
More tree climbing after lunch. We let him climb around for quite a while this time because all the kids were younger and not quite as wild! Lily and Keaton. Love the little look she is giving her big brother. Walking with Lily and her mom. Big blue eyes.
Right in the middle of a bunch of girls is where we find our boy of course! Also notice he is reading books nice and quietly..... why couldn't this happen DURING meeting!?!?!? Today:
Happy Father's Day!
The kids have the best Daddy in the world. We can't thank him enough for all he does and is for us. I just love watching him with the kids because he LOVES being a Dad. He is so involved in EVERY aspect of raising them. He is the reason that having 3 under 3 doesn't scare me. I know that I have don't have to do anything alone. He doesn't shy away from doing anything and is always there to lend a hand where ever it is needed and most all of the time before I even have to ask. I came home a couple weeks ago from a photo shoot to the laundry done as well as the kids in bed. I hadn't even thought of asking for help with the laundry but he saw that it needed done and did it. We love you TONS, thank you for being such a wonderful husband and father!
Auntie Shanna and I at 35 weeks and any day now! We decided we better get a photo before it is too late! We can't wait to meet our new nephew and cousin!!!! Our bumps. Sitting pretty.
Playing ring-around-the-rosie!
Us with our cranky kids! Keaton didn't want to stop playing and Tiana was ready for her afternoon nap!

Daddy Time

As soon as Daddy gets home from work the kids just love to spend EVERY moment with him. Daddy of course does whatever they want for the entire evening usually... well except for the time that he helps me with dinner and the few usual chores. We seem to have a streaker problem around this house at about 7:30 every evening. We get them undressed for bathtime and they run around crazy for a few minutes before getting dumped in the tub!

13 Month Photos

A couple of weeks ago we took Tiana's 13 Month photos in the rose garden which was right up her alley. She has really grown up it seems this last month. She is now running around everywhere.... prancing more like it. She has her hands out to her sides and she shakes her little bottom... cutest thing EVER! She has also learned a few new words, "pants" "shoooos" (shoes) "jooos" (juice) "scuse" (excuse me) "cheeees" (for say cheese at the camera) and she knows a cow says "mmmoooo". She also knows where her eyes, ears, nose, hair, and mouth are. She also LOVES singing the ABC's and even gets some of the letters in there.
Pointing out all the pretty flowers!

As you can tell this is the typical photo that we get of her now... running!
Love this beautiful profile.

Can't decide which way I like it better so I will put both up!
Goofy grins.
