Happy Holidays

Hope your Holidays are wonderful!

Catch up

Well well... we are way behind here! The past few weeks have been crazy busy trying to get ready for our vacation.... a vacation that includes the beach, my brother's wedding, and the Fiesta Bowl. Here are some photos of our days at home getting ready to go.
Our littlest is now 5 months old and sitting up already!
The dismount isn't very smooth yet but he is getting better.
Tiana and him have become the BEST of friends lately. She has become fascinated with her baby dolls and has realized that Camden is her own real live baby! He LOVES the attention from both of the kids. Tiana was quite entertained with sticking stickers on him the other day and luckily since he adores her, he thought it was quite hilarious.
Here she was getting him some toys that she thought he would like.
Best buddies first thing in the morning.
Tiana has become quite the little goon. She will copy whatever faces I am making.....

.....wouldn't you have just LOVED to see what I looked like to get her to copy me!
Espresso mustache. She found a mug with just a bit of foam in the bottom. Needless to say, she LOVES coffee!

Kisses in the tub.
Camden is now grabbing everything in sight. He was entertained for a long time with this paper.
He has also discovered a LOVE for food. Right after this, he started really whining when we noticed that he had his mouth open every bite I took and when I didn't give it to him he was not happy. He needs and loves his cereal twice a day and has added, peas, squash, sweet potatoes, peaches, and bananas.

Keaton has been playing football as per normal, all the time, but now Great Great Grandma Jerry is a regular imaginary player. Mind you she is 99.5 years old and probably the least likely person to be able to play football, even though she is quite amazing for her age!
Tiana's favorite expression right now is "Ya Ok".
Camden is doing awesome sitting up and is getting better at getting down also without bumping his head. He loves playing and rolling around on the floor and is still an amazingly good baby.
We are currently in CA enjoying the 62 degree weather and the beach! Lots more photos to come.

Gingerbread Houses

Last week after Wednesday mtg we made gingerbread houses at Nana and Papa's.

Keaton carefully put candy on each of the lines, not even sampling many.
Tiana on the other hand put the candy in her mouth...... then the unacceptable ones were placed on the house...... then if they looked good later they were removed and eaten once again!
Notice the little fist full!
Our perfectionist, much to our surprise.

Pretending to eat them.

And our little boy who watched the whole process from behind the camera with Nana.

Sewing

One of the reasons for the lack of blogging is getting all of our wedding attire ready for my brother's wedding. Here is my skirt. I love the way it ended up..... I went by my measurements and it ended up being about 3 inches too big so I had to take it all apart and re-do it. It turned out well though.
Tiana's dress. This is the same pattern as her blue dress but I added a few inches in length as well as quite a bit of width so that it is fuller. Then we added a sash... gorgeous but I won't make another one! It is all lined and the lining material doesn't give at ALL not to mention it unravels and is slippery.... in other words, hard to work with.

Then I made a few of these beauties for Tiana's hair and for on my sweater.
I put mine on pins so that I can put them on a shirt in the summer also.

Snow Days

Last week Kason turned ONE! We helped him celebrate on Saturday.
Tiana and cousin Cora.
Then on Daddy's birthday it SNOWED!! This is basically the first time that Tiana has seen snow. She was in it lots last year but was too young to remember. She woke up first (as per normal) and kept coming in and saying "Come, Wook it Mommy Wook it!" With her little nose pressed to the window, she was amazed! Of course Keaton was just SO very excited when he woke up because he loves the snow. We ate breakfast, got Camden down for his morning nap and headed outside...... this is how far Tiana got before she declared, "All done!"
Keaton of course rolled around in it and convinced her to stay outside for a while.
Of course he started eating it immediately, we couldn't get Tiana to eat ANY of it. Which is very weird coming from the girl that has NO problem eating DIRT!

She did enjoy the play set. She will like it more with her new ski gloves that I just got her.

My cute little snowmen.
She was quite concerned at first when she got snow on her mittens "Dirty Mommy, OH NO".... until she realized that Keaton really hollered when she put the snowy mittens on his face!

Then that evening Grandma and Nana came over to help us celebrate Daddy's birthday!
This year we have one more happy little camper added to the mix!
