Cute comments

Keaton has been running really fast through the house for a couple days now saying "peed I's peed". It has confused me to no end and I keep taking him potty. Today he said "NO" and went and got his car. Nana got him this car that you shake and then set it down and it says "Speed, I am Speed" and then takes off. Well, needless to say this is what he has been saying all along! He stands still hollers "peed I speed" and then takes off running!
So of course, he is picking up words right and left. He repeats everything that we say and I have noticed while on the phone he is in the background either answering my questions or copying exactly what I am saying. He sings along with the ABC's, Twinkle Twinkle little Star, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Tell me the Story of Jesus, 12 disciples, and books of the Bible. He gets some of the words into each of them. He is also learning Day by Day for a grace (Day Day to him).
The word that we hear the most throughout the day is "catch" as the ball is flying toward you! He hasn't quite got that he has to say it BEFORE he throws the ball.
It sometimes takes us a while to understand what he is saying but he is pretty good at helping us understand.

Modeling

Modeling her new little outfit!

She loves playing on her tummy now! Partly because big brother always lays down and talks to her and plays with her.
I remember Keaton LOVING this mirror also.
I have been tagged so I suppose I should figure out something to write about:
*I have a Art Education teaching degree for Kindergarten through 12 grade. If I ever decided to teach it would have to be the little kids. I just love K-3 art. Either that or Photography in a High school or Junior high.
*I have been a photographer for 8 years now. Meaning that I have been paid to take photos for that long. This amazes me.... maybe I should be better with that much experience!
I am opening a photo studio. It will be completed hopefully in time to have a grand opening with great deals for Christmas cards!
*I LOVE to travel. I have been to Hawaii twice, Cabo 3 times, Akumal (Mexico), Puerto Vallarta (Mexico), Bahamas, St. Thomas/St. John, Florida and Canada. Most all of those have one thing in common.... the beach! We try to take a big trip once a year... it will be a little over a year this time because we are going to be going somewhere fun for our 5 year anniversary next May.
*I love reading although I don't get as much time to do that with kids. I will still get through at least one book a month. My weakness is mysteries although they can't be to scary or I will freak myself out!
*I am a bit of a neat freak. When I say my house is a disaster people look at me funny but spots on the faucets bother me as well as anything on the floor. Needless to say I have to do a complete top to bottom clean once a week.... the floors with Keaton sometimes need it more often. With this comes another problem of mine... I am also an organizer. All of my clothes as well as the kids' clothes are categorized by type (everyday shirt, Wednesday night, Sunday) and then by color.
*I love to create. Hence the new sewing fetish! I of course do photography but I also love watercolor and crafts. I am always guilty of seeing something that I like and going home and making one just like it. I can't stand spending to much money on something that I would enjoy making myself.
*Last but not least, above all I have always wanted to be a mom. I love being able to stay home with the kids. The mornings are my favorite. Keaton wakes up GRUMPY and all he wants is to crawl in bed with me and curl up to cuddle. We cuddle until we hear sissy wake up. She wakes up with a HUGE smile on her face all of the time just like she missed us so much during the night. I love that kids have such and unconditional love for their parents. It is so rewarding to see them learn every day.
Ok so now I get to tag some people! Davina, Krystal (if you ever read this) and Nicole your turns!

Projects and Playing

Warning: Naked baby photos in this post!
Sissy is now holding on to toys and grabbing everything... which promptly goes into her mouth!
I love this. Both kids playing but they have to be right next to each other.
Keaton playing with her. He is so patient and just loves helping entertain her.
What a beautiful evening for a walk.

We just had to take a photo because we have a photo of Keaton at the EXACT same age just like this.
Here he is! They weighed the same amount exactly at 3 months but Tiana was 1 inch longer. It makes a big difference in a body this small. Keaton was way more chubby and had quite the short little legs!
Here is our beautiful girl in a new favorite dress. I love her rolls hanging over the top of the dress! Only at this age is that cute!

We had to ask Keaton WHAT he was doing... he looked at us like we were seriously slow and said DRIVING! He was pushing the steering wheel all over the living room at Nana and Papa's.
This is what I got out of the shower and found today!!! He has one bottom shelf in the bookcase and until now it has kept him out of all of the other shelves! Notice his shelf is still quite full. The others on other hand are quite empty!
Here is my little project from this last weekend. I have been bit HARD by the sewing bug... or just the craft bug in general. However I do not need any more paintings on the wall and our house is decorated so I had to come up with something creative to do. I got the free pattern here for the skirt and then appliqued the shirt to match! I love it and will take photos of Tiana in it when I can try it on her.
Here is a detail shot of the shirt.
The outfit.
Detail of the skirt.
This mommy has gotten me so excited about sewing again with her little skirts. We have been chatting up a storm about patterns etc. I have ordered this one in Claire (I have also become addicted to her fabrics) and this one in the Tea party sundress and can't wait to get them! I picked up fabric today and am not very patiently waiting for the patterns now!

Just more of our cute kids...

Tiana laughing
Video sent by mommy

Auntie Shanna soaking up some baby time.

Tiana loves to stand up.

Our little helper.
You can't get a photo of our cute girl in her pj's without a underwear clad big brother deciding that it would be a good time to give his sissy a hug.
Tiana is now grabbing things... of course it goes straight into the mouth! Yesterday her dress was soaked from the top and bottom... from drooling and putting the hem into her mouth.
First band-aid! He got a nasty bee sting today but low and behold.... kisses and band-aid's work magic! (especially ones with dogs on them!)

Family Photos

We had a special friend of the family with us for the first part of our trip. It worked perfect because you know me and photos. I really wanted to get some family beach ones with both kids so she was able to snap a few on my camera for us! Then of course we got all of the little combinations. Daddy is really learning his way around my big camera which is really nice because we got some cute ones of me and Keaton this time.

I don't know if you can read it on here when it is this small but it says "Only love can be divided endlessly and still not diminish".

Gotta love this! I have to take full advantage of all of my kisses because soon he will not be near as willing to hand them out.
