Camden turns 6!

Camden keeps our every day full of noise and laughter! He is our firecracker! He loves school and tells me all about it for hours after he gets home!  He has lots of friends and loves his teacher.  Camden is high energy and for the most part very happy! He is very loving and is the first one to give his Mommy big hugs!  He declared before his birthday that he thought that he wouldn't have to plug his nose to eat broccoli anymore... because 6 year olds like vegetables!
His most recent Camdenism was a conversation with Nana:
Camden: Did you hear about when I had a "heart" attack because I thought I lost my monster?
Nana: REALLY, a heart attack, that isn't very common in kids your age!  What did the doctor have to say?  How is your heart?
Camden (exasperated): NO Nana not a heart attack... a HARD attack.  You know when I REALLY freak out!

For Camden's birthday we got a playset! While Mommy and Daddy built the box and filled it with lots and lots of pea gravel, we worked around kids swinging! On a side note... they thought that pea gravel was quite hilarious.  We did make sure and point out that they were not to actually pee in it!

All done!  The kids sure love it!

This little one is always the first one up!  He likes to crawl in bed and sleep in Daddy's side!

New shirts!  The rocket one has is glow in the dark... per Camden's request!  You know Mommy crafts when the demands get higher and higher!
 Camden's request was a Rocketship/Space party!

Cousin Love

Camden loved his new shirt I made him!

AWE this does a Mommy's heart good.  Hearing Tiana read Hop on Pop to Brynlee when they came and visited!

Camden coloring with her.

Boise State Basketball with Miss B and her parents!

Home from school sick... you know when she doesn't feel good when she disappears only to find her asleep.

Oh how I love where we live! 20 minutes to a park overlooking the lake!

Bedhead Beauties!
I caved in and made Tiana her own Frozen dress! I had been selling so many that she was getting a bit irritated at me when none of them were for her! :)

Mother's Day

Mother's day is always extra special to me.  I look at my kids in awe of the fact that I was chosen to be their Mommy!  It is a humbling day to me in thinking of their birthmother's who so selflessly loved their child so much that they gave me the chance to be a Mom.  The way our family has come together has been perfect!

We tried out a new hair do and it is a Sunday favorite now!

I had to do my change of season silhouette madness!  The boys once again chose their designs!
I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner but you always see cheap knit dresses that are plain.... this year I got smart and added some designs to make them special!
Tiana had her field day and loved it!

Keaton had his too but I didn't get very many photos since I was helping out with a group!
Twila spent her birthday and down time with us and we all loved it!  The kids have gotten very attached to her and we all love having her around.  She has become an Auntie to the kids and I love that they have the chance to have a close relationship her!

T-Shirts

Every new season I make a stack of shirts for the boys!!  The boys chose their designs and I must say that they have pretty good taste!
Camden's shirts!

Keaton's and one for Miss Tiana!

Sewing for my boy!

I did a bit of sewing for my little boy!  He was so excited about his dino shirt... he put it on and came to find me.  He was beside himself.
Camden: "Mommy you made it wrong!!!"
Me: No I didn't honey, what do you mean?
Camden:  SEE you made it wrong!!! (As he pulls the hood up over his face)
Me: Umm Camden no, you put it on backwards!
Camden: NO you made it wrong. (We turn it around)
Camden: (gasp!)  Look there is is a POCKET!
Keaton and I got a really good laugh out of this.  I just love that he immediately assumed that I made it wrong... it just COULDN'T be that he put it on backwards!

New birdy shirt for the lil miss.

One of Camden's favorites... a paper airplane shirt!  I did discover that while I can make a really cute paper airplane shirt... I can NOT make a real paper airplane!  Camden reminds me of this almost daily!

They told me they were being "super stars"!

The kids love helping Daddy tie flies!

My favorite shirt of the bunch!  I discovered that my sewing machine has an overlock stitch, so I had fun adding red details!
