Park Time

Due to no babysitter yesterday we had to take the kids to the doctor with us for my 34 week appointment. We told them they could have a reward for being VERY good and they were exceptional so last night after dinner we went to the park. It is great when fun outings work as rewards...... that and the doctor gave them stickers! My doctor is a family practice/ob doctor so she is the kids' doctor also. So, on the way into the doctors office Keaton informed us that "I go to the doctor too and she shot me." He was quite excited about the prospect of Mommy getting shot also! Of course he didn't see the hilarity in any of this but it so cute to hear little comments like this. The appointment went great and after our next 2 week appointment we are down to one weeks... that just seems unreal! Keaton loved hearing the babies heartbeat and they let him help take my blood pressure which of course was quite a highlight of his day.
Sissy and the swings..... we can hardly keep her out of them at the park, they are a new favorite.
And of course Keaton...... climbing something.... BIG surprise!
Tiana figured out that she could climb up the steps on this little play thing and go down the slide on the other end ALL BY HERSELF!
More swings....
after a turn with Daddy she decided she needed to try out Mommy's lap.
Kisses from my sweet little boy.

She got going fast enough on this little slide that sometimes she flew right off the end, only to plop on her bottom, giggle and get up to do it again. She was so excited to do it herself.

We are very much looking forward to convention starting tomorrow!! We are heading out tonight to do the worker's photo.

Night at the Park

On Friday nights during the summer one of the parks around here does a Family Movie Night. They have a huge blow up screen and everyone sits out on blankets to watch a kids movie. Last night we decided to give it a try and went early to let the kids play. A couple other families met us there to join in on the fun. It was a REALLY late night but the kids had a blast.
Saying "Cheese, Mom".
Jace and Keaton had a blast running around playing before the movie started.
Tiana kept us all entertained by dancing to the music.

The other kids had to dance also of course when they took a break from rolling around in the grass.

A day at the Zoo

These first few are from a few days ago. Tiana peeking through the front porch.
Playing with cousin Kason.

Today we met 3 other Mommies with their kids for a fun day at the zoo. The weather was PERFECT and the kids all had a blast. There were 7 little kids running around which made it, well, a zoo! At least there were 4 pairs of adult eyes to keep track of them all. Next time we said that we are going to dress all the kids in the same bright color to help keep track of them.
Jace and Keaton doing what boys do best, CLIMB!
Lily (who is almost 2 and Keaton's FAVORITE person) and Tiana.
Seeing her first animal! I asked Keaton if he saw the Kitty and he informed me that "No, it is a BOBCAT Mommy!"
A line of kids and strollers.
Seeing the big giraffe slide!

Jace, Chloe and Tiana. Chloe is only 6 weeks older than Tiana so they will be great buds here pretty soon.
I just love this photo... shows how big Tiana is for her age next to Lily who is almost 2.
These little guys were Tiana's favorite.... well that and the big, HUGE turtle.
Not sure what kind of face this is.
Pretending to be a bird.
Touching a snake. Tiana was the only one in our family to touch it. Keaton said it was yucky and Mommy agreed!
Watching his favorite animals.... the giraffes.
Tiana took a small catnap through the African Exhibit.

Basking in the sun.... we were trying to get a cute photo of the kids and Keaton decided to lay down... all the other kids followed suit.

Me and my kids.
Taking a ride on the carousel... Keaton loved it.... Tiana was scared to death of it! I couldn't get her to ride on an animal and I couldn't get off of it fast enough for her.
Some of the rest of the crew.

Two tuckered out little girls looking at one of the last exhibits.

Wedding weekend

This last weekend we were at a very intimate wedding of some very close friends/relatives of ours. I did the photos after the wedding so I just got to starting to look at them and remembered that I had snapped a few of the kids also.

Taking a quick break from the photo taking to get some time with my little girl.
I was taking photos of the couple when I turned around and just loved this little moment with Daddy and his kids.

Keaton was my little photo helper! He has never been around me while I am taking photos unless it is of them.... for rather obvious reasons.... they aren't normally the biggest helpers! I am been so busy lately with appointments in the evenings that he was excited to be able to see me work since he hears that's what I do. He didn't get in my way but he stood by my side and counted to three and told them to smile. He also would copy my every little gesture. I sure wish I had a photo of it because it was just so adorable.
Also, Tiana has two new words that she has added to her vocabulary.
Cacker (Cracker)
Gog (Dog)

Pigtails!

Tiana's hair is quite a bit longer in back than it looks normally because of the curls. It is especially noticeable during her bath. So after her bath this morning we put her hair in little pigtails!! The front is still not long enough but I just put a little clip in that like normal. It sure is cute for a change and makes her look all grown up!
