Puerto Vallarta

The end of February brought our business rewards trip.  This time it was to Puerto Vallarta Mexico.  We were very excited to be back since this is where we spent our honeymoon 11 years before!
Our resorts never cease to amaze us!  This was a relatively small resort compared to some years but it was VERY clean and nice!

A long walk on the beach is always nice to get the lay of the land.

Taking goofy photos to send to the kids at home with Grandma and Grandpa!

Papa and Daddy being goofy now!

Nana was all ready to take a pretty picture of the bird when Daddy decided to chase the same bird!!

EWWWW... sea snake!

Evening Sunset from our balcony!

We took a taxi into downtown Puerto Vallarta and spent the day wondering around the town.

The many colors in all of these rocks were amazing!

Like their barbwire!?! Shards of glass on top of the wall!

This is what we remember riding in on our honeymoon.... old HOT buses!

Haha... I had to walk through a fabric store!  Plus it had air conditioning so it was a perfect place to cool off.

I love the wood doors and metal work!

YAY for Starbucks!  Their spelling on our names though were hilarious! Keyla and Benjamin.

The next day we had a taxi driver take us around so some other towns!
Elementary school!

This art is all made out of bottle caps!

This beach had stairs up to an over look.  The stairs were made out of broken colored tile!  It was so unique and pretty.

 Peek!!

The last day we just spent reading and relaxing by the pool!  In the evening we took a walk on the beach.
When payroll hits during vacation... work must be done! I guess working with coffee in the sunshine beats an office in the snow!

Time to go home already!  We missed our kids like CRAZY!!!!

Cousin Love

Camden loved his new shirt I made him!

AWE this does a Mommy's heart good.  Hearing Tiana read Hop on Pop to Brynlee when they came and visited!

Camden coloring with her.

Boise State Basketball with Miss B and her parents!

Home from school sick... you know when she doesn't feel good when she disappears only to find her asleep.

Oh how I love where we live! 20 minutes to a park overlooking the lake!

Bedhead Beauties!
I caved in and made Tiana her own Frozen dress! I had been selling so many that she was getting a bit irritated at me when none of them were for her! :)

Worth the Wait!

Weeeeell... I can say that we are very settled into our new house.  We were under the illusion that once we moved in, things would slow down! HA... those of you that have built before are laughing at this point! The spring and summer have been fulled with projects!  Trying to get a yard in, start landscaping etc! PLUS naps are officially over for these three kids of mine.  Moving in finished off Camden's nap time so I don't find myself sitting at the computer much any more. I am going to attempt to get this caught up so I can keep up now that all my babies will be in school in a few weeks! :(

We are going back to this winter now.  Tom and Shanna came through so we dropped everything and went to see them for an evening!!  Remington and Camden are only a few weeks apart in age so they had a grand time together!

Cousins!!!

Apparently Camden has shot up in height!

Our first Sunday morning in our house and all I could think was that it was SO worth the wait!

Keaton's Basketball

We played Keaton up with the 3rd and 4th graders this year for basketball!  It was so fun watching him... you would have never known that he was way younger!  He got to play point guard and did a wonderful job! He had an awesome coach this year as well which always helps!
Going for the basket!

Shooting freethrows.

This kid is amazing at defense!  The coach really encouraged aggressiveness which Keaton loved!

Basket!!

Driving in!

This game he was on fire!  He scored 14 points this game!

Keaton's team and coach. We hope to continue playing with the same coach next year as well.  Most of this team is from Greenleaf with a few Homedale kids mixed in.  They won all their games (well one was a tie) and played great together!

Cupcake Dress

When we have a Betsy Button auction I try to make something fun for Tiana at the same time!  She got a cupcake dress for spring!  I love it when I do a shoot of her and she hams it up!
