Landon and Lillie

Landon and Lillie and Davina came home with us after convention! The kids had so much fun playing together. Lillie and Keaton are only a month apart in age with only 36 Months between Landon and Tiana! Needless to say they are great friends. Keaton remembered them from when we saw them in January. For more photos of our two adorable friends see
Jumping off the end of the slide.
Seriously Mom we have to stop playing for a PICTURE!
Think we can fit one more little body?Sissy has her first little cold so it was so nice having an extra set of hands for the day. Even though there were two added kids they play so well together you wouldn't even know it..... except for the tornado that hit the living room and spit out all of the toys it could possibly find.

While Lillie was playing with Tiana the boys were....playing outside in the sprinkler.
Landon: "I will go if you go with me"
Keaton: This isn't so bad....
in fact I think that I could just pick it up and chase you with it!

Now maybe I will come after the photographer!
There was LOTS of squealing and laughing going on in the backyard.
Hmmmm, maybe I will take a drink.

Where did the water go? The Mom decided to spice things up and kink the hose for a minute! They were very confused!

HEY!
Maybe I will just try sitting on it!
Time for a different type of sprinkler.
Notice now they are in different clothes. They decided they were done and would come inside..... well this lasted about an hour and they were back out again getting wet.
Such good helpers... watering the flowers.
Maybe if we water this little ball it will grow bigger for us.
The kids had such a wonderful time together. Keaton cried and cried when they had to leave this morning.
One last cuddle with the baby.

Hopefully we will get to see them again sometime in the near future. The kids enjoy playtime and the mom's enjoy the company of adult conversation.

Convention Time

We just had a wonderful convention. The kids did great. Of course we are all quite exhausted but that is pretty normal.
Uncle Mark taking Keaton for a little walk. Thank goodness for 3 uncles and 2 sets of grandparents for added eyes to keep up with where Keaton was taking off to.
Nana with her girl.

We drove back and forth this year so the kids could get a good night sleep each night. Tiana was giving Keaton kisses before bed.
All pretty in red. Thank you Grammy and Poppy for the ADORABLE outfit!
Taking time out to give Tiana kisses.

Smiley six week old!
Practicing to be a plumber! This was the second outfit of the day and Mommy didn't make sure that they fit!
Rolling in the rocks in a white shirt.... not to smart on the part of the Mom!

Laying in the grass getting some time not being held.
Keaton's favorite activity was to roll across the lawn....
and run around like a crazy boy!
Playing with the girls.
Me and my friend Aunna who is turning 2 today!
Playing with Uncle Derek.
Sunday Morning best.

Daddy and his kids on Father's Day!

Our cute little man.

The Z clan that was at convention.
Great Grandpa and Grandma Z.
Soaking up his newest little girl.
We had a much needed convention. The kids both slept through almost all of the afternoon meetings and grandparents helped with the evening meetings! After sitting for 5 hours on Thursday and Friday.... which those of you who know Keaton know how hard this is for him... we drove on the grounds on Saturday morning only to have him squeal and exclaim "Meeting" then start clapping. I love that he loves meeting. We left encouraged and ready to strive to be better parents, spouses, and examples this year.

Working in the Yard

We spent this last weekend working in the yard planting flowers.
Tiana tried out the Moby Wrap outside with Mommy.
Daddy and Keaton planted flowers. Keaton had a great time playing in the dirt and "helping"!
This is what we see in the evenings until about 11 or 11:30! Our bright eyed little girl peeking over Daddy's shoulder.
Keaton has finally master going down the slide correctly without any help!

Mommy finally finished her project for Sissy's room using an old window.

This is how Tiana woke up yesterday! Gotta love mornings like this.

Life

After a wonderful evening with my husband and 9 hours of uninterrupted sleep on Friday night we were more than ready for this week! We had a great time just hanging out going to Saturday Market before getting the kids before nap time. Nana and Papa survived but she says she can sympathize with me now when I call completely maxed out! The kids did great just your normal 18 and a half month age difference giving you a run for your money! Mommy and Daddy sure enjoyed a little time together though. It sure is amazing though.... during a normal day half of your brain is always on what the kids are doing/needing and what they will be doing/needing. This does not turn off when they aren't there! I knew this before but it was made real again this past weekend.
Tiana is ONE month old already and holding her head up like a champ! We had a day last week where Tiana fought to stay awake from 1 in the afternoon until 6:30 when she finally couldn't fight it any more! She was wiggling around and I was holding both kids... she finally fell asleep leaning on her much adored big brother.
Showing off the new convention haircut!
Our goofy boy LOVES cucumbers. If he has a choice this is all that he will eat. When we have them we use them as bribery to eat the rest of his meal! He was helping Mommy get dinner ready and swiped the one that I was cutting up.
Sissy can see a really long ways now. She loves watching her mobile and her brother running around crazy. This morning we got LOTS of smiles. Keaton still gets the biggest smiles out of her. We will see if we can get some for her one month photos tomorrow. She has also started to coo just a little bit. It takes all she can muster to get out a littly noise but it is so cute.
Filling Out! Not surprising when you see how much she eats!
A couple Keatonism's:
He likes to lead you around by the hand to show you what he wants or needs.
Daddy told him to go "get" Mommy and when I saw him coming I said "Oh no, are you going to get me?". Now he runs around going "Get me" instead of "Get you".
Yesterday he came up to me with Daddy's bible case pulled on his arm, carrying it like a shoulder bag and exclaimed "Go Meeting". So glad that this is an exciting thing, we hope to keep it that way.
He is learning so many words right now it is hard to even begin keeping track but here are a few more:
"Swing" "Krickle" (Krystal) "Codd" (Todd) "Meeting" "Play" "Smile" "Cryin" (usually sissy cryin in case I hadn't heard) "Blan" (Blanket) "tee" (tree) mean mean (green bean)
He has continued to be a WONDERFUL big brother who adores his sister like you wouldn't believe.... the feeling is very much mutual between the two of them.
